2. What this is

Untixx is an app for school students. It shows the timetable, keeps track of homework and exams, reminds you about them, and – if the child wants – lets parents take a look.

Untixx is not an official service of any school and is not connected to WebUntis, Untis GmbH or any school authority. The name “Untixx” does not imply such a connection.

3. Use

Use is voluntary and currently completely free: there are no purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising and no feature that costs money. No account is required: timetable, homework and exams work without signing in. Signing in with Apple additionally enables syncing across devices and parent mode.

You must not use Untixx to harass or threaten others or to infringe their rights. Content you enter must be lawful. You are responsible for what you enter.

4. Use by minors

Untixx is aimed at school students and is used predominantly by minors. Anyone who does not yet have full legal capacity under the law of their country uses Untixx with the agreement of a parent or guardian. There are no in-app purchases, so no money can be spent inside Untixx.

5. Parent mode

Parent mode is optional and always starts with the child:

Only the child can create an invitation.
The child decides individually whether timetable, homework and exams are visible.
Parents see a copy and cannot change anything.
The child can end the connection at any time. After that, parents see nothing new and can send nothing.

Messages only ever run between a child and the parent that child invited. There is no public content, no search for other people and no contact with strangers.

6. Cost

Untixx is currently completely free. The app contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising. Nothing is billed, and there is no payment handling anywhere in the app.

Should this change in a future version, it will be stated clearly here and in the app beforehand. Features you have been using will not be taken away from you retroactively.

7. Availability and warranty

Untixx is developed with care, but without any assurance that it will always run without faults. Syncing depends on Apple’s iCloud services, over which the provider has no influence.

Untixx does not replace an official source. Always check important dates – exams in particular – where your school publishes them.

8. Liability

The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under applicable product liability law. In cases of simple negligence, liability applies only to the breach of material contractual obligations and is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. 9. Ending use

You can stop using Untixx at any time: in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account, and by removing Untixx from your device. There is nothing to cancel, because there are no paid contracts.

10. Changes

These terms may be adapted as the app changes. The version published here at the time is the one that applies.

11. Governing law

The law of [INSERT COUNTRY] applies, unless mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you habitually reside say otherwise.
